Happy Easter all!
This year we had our Easter picnic at Tambourine Mountain. It was a beautiful cool day. The rain stayed away thankfully. After some trial and error we settled on a picnic area in the national park at the north end of the mountain. Noodles, salad spiced chicken for lunch with cheesecake and fruit salad for desert. After lunch we went sight seeing. Here's a photo from a look out:
Many of us went on a walking trail into the sub-tropical rain forest. For me the rain forest gave off an energy and aliveness more than I felt in other types of vegetation or perhaps it was just that moment. I didn't complete trail but photos were taken. Here's one:
We pre-empted Easter a bit by choosing holy Saturday but it left Sunday for worship and family. Good day was had by all. :)
